Hey there, I am here for you.

Trauma, it's an unavoidable experience in human lives.

In most cases, human beings are capable of responding it with resilience.

We are so strong and smart to handle traumas in a way that we can survive and go on with our lives.

Nevertheless, traumatic experiences leave traces and marks in us, in our minds and much more often in our bodies. They don't disappear and cannot be erased. They'd be hidden until they can't be anymore.

Things that might not have been major or important for a while may surface again during the very sensitive time of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum. The bodily transformation may activate certain past emotions and thoughts. Feelings that have been under control may become wild again.

Are you feeling overwhelmed because of past traumas?
Are you having fear of giving birth because of a traumatic birthing experience?

Or have you been through a pregnancy loss?

First, I want to let you know, whatever you're feeling is NORMAL. You're being normal to feel how you feel, even when you are not certain about what those feelings are, even when you cannot verbally describe them.

Then, I want to let you know, it takes time to heal. That's just how our brain and body work. There's no need to force yourself to "get well" quickly.

Lastly, I want to let you know, you are unique and have tremendously powerful inner strength to have come this far in your I-bet-not-so-easy life. I believe you are capable of healing and thriving because you are a human.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and have worked to support trauma survivors for years. I am also a person who has been on a healing journey for childhood traumas and loss of pregnancy.

I'm here to offer my ears and my assistance to you in navigating your unique bodily and emotional responses to your stories. I'm also here to offer insights on healing from traumas and provide other resources you need to go "from surviving to thriving."
